IAM RoadSmart Solent is an IAM RoadSmart affiliated road safety group. They provide advanced training for motorcyclists in Hampshire, east Dorset, south Wiltshire, and West Sussex.

Our involvement with the group’s committee lead to discussion about inproving the quality of their published material, in terms of presentation and content. When IAM RoadSmart launched their new identity in 2016, the group decided to follow suite. Visual cues from the new IAM RoadSmart designs informed the redesign for the group’s identity, information and promotional collateral.

To improve the economics of distribution the newsletter has been prepared in Adobe Acrobat format (PDF), for notification to members by email, and downloadable from the group’s web site.

The design incorporates the group’s new identity, and develops the content and layout in a newsletter style. This flexibly combines short articles, news items, and listings, with longer, ‘feature’ editorial.
